Cargatena (10°24’ N 75°30’ W) or Cartagena de Indias is a large city with almost one milion inhabitants. It has a beautiful old city.

La Guajira

La Guajira is a region and peninsula in northern Colombia, at the border with Venezuela. The first place where tourists go is the village of Cabo de la Vela (12°11’45″ N 72°08’48″W) from where tourists can go further.

Chicamocha National Park

In northern Colombia, south of Bucaramanga (7°07’ N 73°07’ W), there is a Chicamocha National Park on a top of mountain ridge (6°47’24″ N 73°00’14″W). Inside the park there is also a teleférico on the other side of the Chicamocha canyon.

Valle de Cocora

Valle de Cocora (4°38’ N 75°29’ W) is a valley near cities of Pereira and Armenia in Colombia. It’s the main location where Quindío wax palm can be found. It attracts a lot of tourists.
